manufacturing track

Ensuring continuous improvement in operations requires a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, organisational skills and analytical horsepower to manage strategic projects.

Uniting resin and fiber to manufacture functional and aesthetically attractive surfaces is not as easy as it sounds. It starts with continuous processes, such as the impregnation of kraft paper and ends with the manufacturing of batches (the number of different products that one factory makes is dazzling). At one point in the process precision in recipes, temperature and pressure could be what makes the difference; at another, it might be all about effective planning. Trainees can make an important impact by bringing the valuable experience of our factory staff together with a keen eye for sensible improvement opportunities. This could be from an engineering perspective but just as well from a safety or planning point of view.
